Lisa brings a thoughtful, people-centered perspective to her family law practice. Prior to earning her Juris Doctor, she completed an Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Winnipeg and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba. Her background in healthcare and human behavior deeply informs her empathetic, practical approach to guiding clients through complex family transitions.
Throughout law school, Lisa worked with the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic and the Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts, providing pro bono support to local entrepreneurs, non-profits, and artists to help make legal services more accessible to Manitobans. Her academic dedication earned her numerous awards, culminating in the Gold Medal in Law upon graduation from the Robson Hall Faculty of Law. Following law school, Lisa was named the recipient of the prestigious A. Montague Israels Q.C. Prize, awarded by the Law Society of Manitoba to the articling student demonstrating high academic achievement, legal skills, and exemplary character.
Having completed her articles with Mitousis Family Law Group, Lisa returned to the firm as an associate lawyer following her call to the bar. She works closely alongside senior counsel on a wide range of family law matters, developing a dynamic practice focused on collaborative solutions, clear communication, and strong client advocacy.
Outside the office, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and channeling her creative side through writing and film.
